Sink or Swim: NBI's Product Innovation Workshop

Have you spotted a market opportunity that can be turned into a successful business, but don't know where to start? If so, You are cordially invited to attend 'Sink or Swim: Product Innovation Workshop' hosted by NBI and generously funded by the Manchester Enterprise Centre.

Join us to find out how you can extract maximum value from your business idea and develop a product or service tailored to the needs of your customers.

Dr. Martin Henery (Manchester Enterprise Centre) and Mr. Gabriel Perez (Biotechnology and Enterprise MSc Candidate) will introduce you to the right business tools involved in product innovation and refining your venture’s value proposition.

NBI has also invited scientific spin-out experts Professor Richard Walmsley (Gentronix, Scientific Director & CSO) and Dr. Dan Jones (Fusion Implants, Director) to share their knowledge and experience in product development and intellectual property whilst building their own businesses.

The workshop will culminate in two optional break-out sessions which will give attendees the opportunity to assess the strengths and shortcomings of (1) their own business idea or (2) a business case study using Osterwalder's Value Proposition Canvas; these sessions will be run by Dr Dan Jones and Professor Richard Walmsley, respectively, as mentors.
